ANNOUNCING… IN PLACE OF WAR

Festival No.6 is proud to welcome In Place of War back to Portmeirion to curate an incredible female-only bill of international artists under the banner ‘Voices of the Revolution’. IPOW do amazing work supporting artists from zones of violence and disruption across the world. On Friday and Saturday evening at No.6 fifteen artists from Ghana, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Colombia, Bangladesh, Rwanda, Venezuela, India and the UK will collaborate and perform unique material, led by the brilliant Errollyn Wallen, the UK’s first black female composer for the Proms. This will be a unique, new work, and we are hugely looking forward to welcoming these inspiring artists to Festival No.6.
