Sharpen your senses with a series of group writing exercises on a poetry walk in the stunning surroundings of Portmeirion. This roaming workshop will take place in a series of unusual locations around the festival site. Listening as well as looking, you’ll experiment with techniques for noticing the details that often slip away unnoticed. By writing collaboratively you’ll be able to explore shifting viewpoints and multiple perspectives. The walk is led by poet and Bangor University Creative Writing lecturer Zoë Skoulding, whose most recent collection, The Museum of Disappearing Sounds, was shortlisted for the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry.
