The essence of Crumble Shack is to take the customer back to a happy place and the warming heart of Great British Cooking. It may not be the most revered or acclaimed puddings and the patisserie houses of Paris may not be quaking in their culinary boots but for many the humble crumble is one of our earliest food memories and conjures the image of a family table bowing with generosity and warmth.
Crumble Shack will be offering piping hot portions of Great British Crumble served with Free Range egg and Madagascan Vanilla Custard (no packets or powders in sight).
In the simplicity lies the search for perfection and the palate to be creative and the chance for us to involve our customers in letting us know what flavour combinations work for them in the knowledge that we will have done our best to perfect each option. We will design a number of Crumbles that we think work together; a choice of fruit filling and crunchy toasted toppings and serve them with a portion of our “Grandma knows best” luscious Custard. The customer can then feel free to mix and match the fruits and the toppings to create a crumble all of their own and hopefully come back to try as many combinations as their belly can take.
