GROUND CONTROL TO PORTMEIR-ION… BOWIE REIMAGINED

GROUND CONTROL TO PORTMEIR-ION… BOWIE REIMAGINED

We’re thrilled to announce details of the David Bowie Reimagined spectacular for this year’s No.6. Arranged by our Composer-in-Residence Joe Duddell (fresh from selling out Sydney Opera House with New Order), and featuring the world famous Manchester Camerata chamber orchestra with a very special all-female cast of guest vocalists – Charlotte Church, Jacqui Abbott (The Beautiful South), Lucy Rose, Jane Weaver and Nadine Shah. Plus the No.6 Bowie band – Larry Gott (James) on guitar, Dave Maric on piano, Nathan Sudders (The Whip, Guy Garvey’s band) on bass, and Pete Marshall (Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott’s band) on drums. Created and arranged exclusively for Np.6, David Bowie Reimagined will take over the main stage on Sunday early evening, and feature new arrangements of iconic songs from across Bowie’s career.
