General Information & Opening Times

What date is Festival No.6?

Festival No.6 2017 will be 7th – 10th September 2017.

Where is Festival No.6?

The picturesque Italiante village of Portmeirion, North Wales is our home.

What are the opening and closing times?

The site will be open from 1pm on Thursday and will close at 1pm on Monday. Friday ticket holders will have access from 9am on Friday 8th. Programming will finish at 3am each night except on Sunday where it will finish at 1am.

If I leave the festival, can I re enter?

Festival goers can come and go as they please during their stay at Festival No.6. If you have accommodation outside of Portmeirion it will not be a problem leaving the festival site and returning the next morning.

Ticket Information

How much does a ticket cost?

Adult weekend tickets start from £180 plus booking fee. All prices can be viewed on our prices and booking section of the website.

What does a General Admission Ticket grant me?

General admission tickets give you access to all the main areas of Festival No.6, including ALL stages, Portmeirion Village and The Estuary, main arena, Castell Gardens, Village Green and the Gwyllt Woods.

What does a VIP Ticket grant me?

New for 2017, the No.6 VIP ticket gives you exclusive access inside the Hotel Portmeirion and Castell Deudraeth, where Portmeirion have asked us to restrict access to protect the buildings. Please note, if you are planning on booking Portmeirion Village accommodation, please book a no camping ticket and you will automatically be upgraded to VIP once you purchase accommodation.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Yes. If you want to upgrade your ticket from a non-camping to a camping ticket, or you would like to upgrade from a general admission ticket to a VIP ticket, please call our customer services and they will be happy to help. You will be required the pay the difference in the price at the time of upgrading.

How do I book tickets?

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Yes, please ensure this is done before the 7th August 2017. There will be a £15.00 fee for this change.

Can I pay a deposit or pay by a payment plan?

You were able to pay a £1o0 deposit to secure your ticket for Festival No.6. The balance was due by 30th June 2017.  Deposit scheme tickets are now sold out.

This year, for the first time, we are offering payment plan tickets, which will allow you to pay for your ticket in equal monthly instalments between the time of purchase and the balance deadline. The ticket prices below include a £10 per person payment plan fee which is included in the monthly instalments. The amount payable at the time of purchase includes the booking fee, delivery option, ticket plan (if chosen) and the first instalment of your ticket. Payment Plan tickets are now sold out.

Are Local Tickets available?

Minffordd and Local Weekend tickets are available from Portmeirion Information Centre.

Are there any age restrictions?

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 10 go free however, you must select a Child ticket for them at the same time as purchasing your adult ticket.

How do I log into my Customer Accounts?

When you make a booking you will receive an email including your Festival No.6 booking reference number. Please ensure you click ‘Verify’ to activate your customer account.

Once you have verified your email address you will be sent to a confirmation email, letting you know verification has been successful. If you have not set a password, a temporary password will be emailed to you after you verify your email address.

Customer accounts enable you to securely access all your Festival No. 6 bookings in one place, view your personal details, make amendments, pay your balance and add Tickets, Extras, Accommodation and Transport.

I’ve lost my ticket / wristband. What can I do?

Unfortunately tickets and wristbands cannot be replaced under any circumstances.

Disabled Access

Can I apply for a 2 for 1 carer ticket?

Yes, please visit the disabled access page on our website for more information on our 2 for 1 carer ticket scheme, facilities and application forms.

Camping & Accommodation

What size tent can I bring?

We ask you to respect other campers and to not bring anything bigger than an 8 man tent.

If I buy a No Camping Ticket, will I be able to access the campsite? 

You can only access the campsite with a Camping wristband. Anyone with a No Camping wristband, will not be able to access the campsite.

Do you offer Boutique Camping at Festival No.6?

We have a large range of Boutique Camping available at Festival No.6. You can view all options here.

If you have already booked a festival ticket, you are able to add this to your existing booking via the customer dashboard.

Can I bring a Campervan?

Campervan passes are now sold out.

You will be allowed 5 x 5 meters of space per camper van pitch to use for your camper van. However, please be aware that water and electricity hook up will not be available, and that camper van tickets must be purchased in advance for site planning purposes.

Cars will not be allowed into the camper van area at anytime so consequently caravans and trailer tents will not be permitted. Please also be aware the Portmeirion’s ground can be quite uneven due to it’s location.

Can I book Portmeirion Accommodation?

Village accommodation is now sold out for the festival dates, however all No.6 guests are able to book a room either side of the festival dates. If you wish to do so, please call Portmeirion direct on 01766 770000. We ask that you pay for your booking in full at the time of purchase.

Transport and Shuttles

Is there a transfer from Bangor to Festival No.6?

Yes, you can purchase your transfer from the TRANSPORT section when booking your ticket or on your dashboard.

Can I travel by Train to Festival No.6?

Yes, the nearest train station is Bangor station. Virgin Trains are back on board as the Official Travel Partner of Festival No.6 for a fourth year. No.6 guests are able to take advantage of up to 50% off train travel to Bangor from across the UK, for a limited and extended time only (12th July), before the general sale starts. To protect the beautiful surroundings of Portmeirion, which is Grade II listed, we operate a Park and Ride service. This year, Park and Ride has been moved to a beautiful new farm location on high, well-drained land, and we have overhauled the logistics. We are working closely with the land owners of the new site to ensure the facilities for this year’s Park and Ride service are the best they can be.

Will there be Cash Points on site?

There will be ATM cash machines on site. However we’d still recommend bringing enough money for the weekend to avoid any queuing.

Are there showers on site?

Yes there are showers on site which are accessible to everyone. You can also upgrade and purchase a Pamper Room pass from ZooLoo’s – see more info below.

Can I buy Merchandise?

Yes, we will be selling a range of merchandise on site.

Can I buy food on site?

We strive to make sure the food and drink offered at Festival No.6 reflects the stunning setting and general surrealist nature of the festival. We pull together over 40 of the nation’s finest street food operators, to create a diverse mix of cuisine for a never-ending banquet of first class food to go. To create a true ‘village’ feel that’s in keeping with its surroundings we’ll be producing a street of wonderful food to go all housed in their own individual wooden chalet. Do you offer a trolley service to transport our luggage to the campsite?

Yes. You will be able to collect a trolley from either the Park and Ride area or the on site bus drop off point. This costs £20 for both (or £10 if you only need it from the on site bus drop off point to your campsite).

Can I purchase a luxury toilet, shower and pamper pass?

Located in Campsite Services in the General Camping fields (between camping field ST1 and village camping), we’re pleased to offer you ZooLoo’s Powder Room Pass for just £38 per person for the whole weekend.

Your Powder Room Pass package includes:
– Luxury Clean Vacuum Toilets
– Hot Private Showers
– Luxury Hair & Make-Up Pamper Area
– Hair Dryers and Straighteners

Opening times are Thursday 2pm – 2am | Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am – 2am | Monday 7am – 1pm

Day passes can be purchased on the door for £15 and single use passes can be purchased on the door for £10. Please note if you purchase on site it is a cash only operation.

What can't we bring on site?

Can I bring camping stoves?

Yes this is no problem but please place your cooking area well away from your tent. Always ensure there is an adequate supply of fresh air where the BBQ is being used.

Can I bring a disposable BBQ?

Disposable BBQ’s are not allowed.

If you are bringing a gas BBQ please ensure gas canister does not exceed the size of 500g.

Can I bring my own soundsystem?

As a condition of us gaining our licence no private sound-systems or generators will be allowed onto the festival site.

Is there a limit on the amount of alcohol I can bring in?

You are allowed to bring in your own alcohol (for consumption in the camping fields) but only up to a reasonable amount per person e.g. 1 case of beer/lager/cider or up to 1 litre of (decanted) spirits. You will be asked to leave excess quantities outside the event. You will not be allowed to bring in glass bottles or any kind.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs will not be allowed in the festival site.

Search Policy

Can I take alcohol out of the campsite into the festival?

Alcohol is not allowed to be taken into the arenas & venues in order to keep the drink prices competitive and affordable.

What is your drug policy?

The festival operates a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. The laws of the land are as relevant within the festival site as anywhere else.

Will there be security?

We will have Police & Security onsite 24 hours a day to ensure you are looked after.
