General Information & Opening Times

What date is Festival No.6?

Festival No.6 2018 will be 6th – 9th September 2018.

Where is Festival No.6?

The picturesque Italianate village of Portmeirion, North Wales is our home.

What are the opening and closing times?

The site will be open from 1pm on Thursday and will close at 1pm on Monday. Friday Weekend ticket holders will have access from 9am on Friday 7th. Programming will finish at 3am each night except on Sunday where it will finish at 1am.

If I leave the festival, can I re-enter?

Festival-goers can come and go as they please during their stay at Festival No.6. If you have accommodation outside of Portmeirion it will not be a problem leaving the festival site and returning the next morning.

How much does a ticket cost?

Tier Three and VIP tickets start from £180 + £10 BF + delivery* and are on sale now. Click here to purchase yours. Pre-Payment plan Tickets and purchasing tickets through a deposit scheme have now sold out.

*All prices exclude a per ticket booking fee (BF) and a per transaction delivery fee (which will be based upon your billing address).

What does a GA ticket grant me?

Tickets give you access to all the main areas of Festival No. 6, including ALL stages, Portmeirion Village and The Estuary, Main Arena, Castell Gardens, Village Green and the Gwyllt Woods.

What does a VIP ticket grant me?

As well as access to all the main areas of Festival No. 6, including ALL stages, Portmeirion Village and The Estuary, Main Arena, Castell Gardens, Village Green and the Gwyllt Woods, VIP ticket holders also have exclusive access to the VIP bar in the Main Arena. Ticket holders also benefit from free Park & Ride and express lanes for shuttles.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Yes. If you want to upgrade your ticket from a non-camping to a camping ticket or from a general admission ticket to a VIP ticket, please call our customer services and they will be happy to help. You will be required to pay the difference in the price at the time of upgrading.

How do I book tickets?

  1. Click here.
    2. Choose if you’d prefer to Pay in Full or with a Pre-Payment Plan to break your balance into instalments and click the corresponding link.
    3. Decide if you’d like a general admission ticket or upgrade to VIP, where you get exclusive access to our new VIP bar located in Castell Park, complimentary Park & Ride and Express Lanes for coach shuttles.
    4. Choose which day you’d like to come; programming starts on Friday but arriving Thursday is perfect for extending your getaway and avoiding the Friday rush.
    5. Continue through the booking platform and select if you’d like to add some luxury by choosing a structure in our Boutique Village to stay in.
    6. Select any Extras, like TicketPlan or Park & Ride and other experiences to be released like Dinner at Clough’s.
    7. Log in or create an account, pay, then lean back and reflect on what a summer it’s going to be.

When is the last date I can book with the Pre-Payment Plan? 

30th May was the final date to be able to split your balance into instalments. These are now sold out.

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Yes. Please call our customer services team on 0344 326 4264 who will be able to assist you with this. Please note, there will be a £15.00 fee for this change.

Can I cancel or return my tickets?

No, I’m afraid we do not accept cancelations. Please see above on how to change the name on your ticket.

My tickets haven’t arrived, what shall I do?

Physical tickets are sent one to two weeks before the event starts. Please make sure we have the correct contact details for you by logging into your dashboard here and updating them.

Can I pay a deposit or pay by a payment plan?

Deposit plans and Pre-Payment plans are now sold out.

Are Local Tickets available?

Local Tickets are on sale now from Portmeirion Information Centre. Tickets for residents of Minffordd will be available from 9th May. You will be able to purchase Local Tickets if you live in the following postcodes:LL41,  LL45, LL46, LL47, LL48, LL49, LL51 and LL52 as well as Minffordd.

I have an enquiry about a ticket. Who do I contact?

Please contact our customer service team on 0844 967 0002 between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday or email customerservice@festivalnumber6.com and one of our team will be happy to help.

Are there any age restrictions?

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

How do I log into my Customer Account?

When you make a booking you will receive an email including your Festival No.6 booking reference number. Please ensure you click ‘Verify’ to activate your customer account.

Once you have verified your email address you will be sent a confirmation email, letting you know verification has been successful. If you have not set a password, a temporary password will be emailed to you after you verify your email address.

Customer accounts enable you to securely access all your Festival No. 6 bookings in one place, view your personal details, make amendments, pay your balance and add Tickets, Extras, Accommodation and Transport.

I’ve lost my ticket / wristband. What can I do?

Unfortunately, tickets and wristbands cannot be replaced under any circumstances.

I want to add extras to my booking. How do I do that?

Log in to your customer dashboard here, click on the VIEW/AMENDS button on the booking you wish to add extras too and click on the ‘ADD EXTRA, ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT HERE’ button.

Disabled Access

Can I apply for a 2 for 1 carer ticket?

Yes, please visit the Disabled Access page on our website for more information on our 2 for 1 carer ticket scheme, facilities and application forms.

Camping & Accommodation

What size tent can I bring?

We ask you to respect other campers and to not bring anything bigger than an 8 man tent.

If I buy a No Camping Ticket, will I be able to access the campsite? 

You can only access the campsite with a Camping wristband. Anyone with a No Camping wristband, will not be able to access the campsite.

Do you offer Boutique Camping at Festival No.6?

We have a large range of Boutique Camping available at Festival No.6. You can view all options here.

If you have already booked a festival ticket and wish to book the boutique village, click ‘continue’ on the booking page.

Do you offer pre-erected tents at Festival No.6?

Yes, simply turn up and find your tent already pitched in the dedicated Pitch Village field. You’ll have access to hot showers, phone charging, tea & coffee and 24/7 customer service. You can view all options here.

Is there an area for family camping?

Yes. This is one of the closest campsites to Castell Park, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Guests can only camp here if they have a Child or Youth ticket holder with them.

Can I bring a Campervan?

Campervan tickets are currently sold out.

You will be allowed 5 x 5 meters of space per camper van pitch to use for your camper van. However, please be aware that water and electricity hook up will not be available, and that camper van tickets must be purchased in advance for site planning purposes.

Cars will not be allowed into the camper van area at anytime so consequently caravans and trailer tents will not be permitted. Please also be aware the Portmeirion’s ground can be quite uneven due to it’s location.

Can I book Portmeirion Accommodation?

Village accommodation is now sold out.

Transport and Shuttles

Can I travel by Train to Festival No.6?

Yes, the nearest train station is Bangor station.

Is there a transfer from Bangor to Festival No.6?

Yes, you will be able to purchase your transfer from the TRANSPORT section when booking your ticket or on your dashboard when this comes on sale.

 

Parking

To protect the beautiful surroundings of Portmeirion, which is Grade II listed, we operate a Park and Ride service. The Park and Ride is located on a beautiful farm on high, well-drained land, and we have overhauled the logistics. We are working closely with the landowners of the site to ensure the facilities for the Park and Ride service are the best they can be.

Facilities

Will there be Cash Points on site?

There will be ATM cash machines on site. However we’d still recommend bringing enough money for the weekend to avoid any queuing.

Are there showers on site?

Yes there are showers on site which are accessible to everyone. Details on upgrading and purchasing enhanced washing facilities can be booked here.

Can I buy Merchandise?

Yes, we will be selling a range of merchandise on site.

Where will I find lost property?

At the Information Point in the Village Green.

Can I buy food on site?

We strive to make sure the food and drink offered at Festival No.6 reflects the stunning setting and general surrealist nature of the festival. We pull together over 40 of the nation’s finest street food operators, to create a diverse mix of cuisine for a never-ending banquet of first class food to go. To create a true ‘village’ feel that’s in keeping with its surroundings we’ll be producing a street of wonderful food to go all housed in their own individual wooden chalet.

Do you offer a trolley service to transport our luggage to the campsite?

Can I pre-purchase drinks in advance?

Details on pre-purchasing and collecting drinks at the festival will be coming soon.

Will there be mobile phone charging and locker facilities on site?

Yes, you can book here.

What can't we bring on site?

Can I bring camping stoves?

Yes this is no problem but please place your cooking area well away from your tent. Always ensure there is an adequate supply of fresh air where the BBQ is being used.

Can I bring a disposable BBQ?

Disposable BBQ’s are not allowed.

If you are bringing a gas BBQ, a maximum of three gas canisters will be permitted per tent, with max. canister size of 500g/ml and a combined capacity of no more than 1000g/ml overall.

Can I bring my own soundsystem?

As a condition of us gaining our licence no private sound-systems or generators will be allowed onto the festival site.

Is there a limit on the amount of alcohol I can bring in?

You are allowed to bring in your own alcohol (for consumption in the camping fields) but only up to a reasonable amount per person e.g. 1 case of beer/lager/cider or up to 1 litre of (decanted) spirits. You will be asked to leave excess quantities outside the event. You will not be allowed to bring in glass bottles of any kind.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs will not be allowed in the festival site.

Search Policy

Can I take alcohol out of the campsite into the festival?

Alcohol is not allowed to be taken into the arenas & venues in order to keep drink prices competitive and affordable.

What is your drug policy?

The festival operates a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. The laws of the land are as relevant within the festival site as anywhere else. This includes new psychoactive substances, poppers and nitrous oxide.

Will there be security?

We will have Police & Security onsite 24 hours a day to ensure you are looked after.
