Take Pleasure Seriously…

Take Pleasure Seriously…

Festivals don’t have to be about late nights and hangovers… Set in the most stylish setting imaginable, we take pleasure very seriously at Festival No.6. As well as the diverse mix of music, arts and culture on offer, there are also endless unique experiences and activities to get involved in. Whether it’s waking up in a castle, paddle boarding on the estuary, dining in our Michelin-starred restaurant, expanding your mind at the No.6 Academy with Guardian Masterclasses, being part of one of our magical illuminated procession or watching iconic artists on the Central Piazza. We’ve got something to suit all. Here are some of our top picks.

Be seeing you in four months…

RELAX IN THE CENTRAL PIAZZA

The Central Piazza is one of the most striking venues we’ve ever seen and the beating heart of the festival. Fully immerse yourself in our ground-breaking arts programme, enjoy spoken word, pop-up theatre and much more with the sun beating down and a refreshing drink in your hand. There’s nothing quite like it.

PADDLE-BOARD ON THE RIVER DWYRYD

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Why not take some time out and experience our paddle-boarding session on the River Dwyryd Estuary with friends old and new, it’s one of Portmeirion’s most stunning spots and there’s nothing quite like seeing the festival from this perspective. Find out how you can get involved soon.

INDULGE YOUR CULINARY SENSES

Food & drink play a key part in Festival No.6. We pride ourselves on high standards and have something to cater for everyone’s tastes. Dine with friends in our restaurant hosted by world renowned and Michelin-starred Chefs, or take your pick from over 40 of the UK’s best street food traders, sip champagne at the bubbles bar, or shop local at the Welsh Produce Market. You’ll be spoilt for choice. We will be announcing our full food programme very soon…

RELAX IN A WOODFIRE HOT TUB

What better way to brush off the cobwebs than treating yourself to some well-earned R&R in a wood-fired hot tub. New for 2017, located on the beautiful White Horses Promenade, our wood-fired hot tubs sessions are the perfect way to sit back, relax and unwind whilst taking in the views of the beautiful estuary. We will be releasing our full wellness programme and opening booking for hot tub sessions soon.

STROLLS ALONG THE ESTUARY

Nothing quite beats escaping for a few hours and enjoying a stroll along the estuary at low tide. Surrounded by the rugged beauty of Snowdonia, the woodlands and the colourful village, you’ll truly be encapsulated by the eccentricity and fantasy of No.6.

EXPLORE 70 ACRES OF EXOTIC WOODLANDS

Spend your days exploring the 70 acres of woodland that surround the village and discover a different surprise around every corner. Stumble across one of our many pop-up raves, search for the iconic floating dance floor on the Chinese Lake, hidden within the tropical vegetation, hosting the worlds biggest disco legends, join in on a foraging trail or start the day off right with a morning run. The Gwyllt Woods is a whole another world of discovery.

BE A PART OF THE MAGIC

We have so many unique experiences planned for you. Our nightly processions are a unique opportunity to become a part of an exciting and beautiful No.6 ritual… by signing up to carry a burning wax torch in a fantastic fiery procession of 100 flames, which meanders from the Village to the Castell Park. Or show your flamboyant side and be a part of Carnival No.6 which takes over the Central Piazza on the Saturday afternoon. More information on how you can get involved will be announced shortly.

SLEEP UNDER THE STARS

And wake up overlooking the beautiful River Dwyryd Estuary… We have something to suit all needs. We have given our boutique campsite an overhaul, as well as a dedicated team on hand to look after your needs, all accommodation types will be brand new for 2017. Some features include, wooden beds, raised wooden flooring, power sockets, lockable door and even en-suite facilities. Peruse what’s on offer and check-in to the boutique village this September….
